Overview

SAN Nutrition is a global sports nutrition brand operating in a highly competitive e-commerce environment. This project focused on modernizing the brand identity, boosting digital commerce performance, and crafting clear, human-centered storytelling that resonates across all digital platforms.

The Challenge

The supplement category often relies on technical, feature-heavy language that overwhelms customers and creates friction in the buying journey. At the same time, outdated visual design limited the brand’s ability to meet modern market expectations and compete effectively in digital commerce.

As customer behavior and design standards evolved, the brand needed a clearer, more contemporary approach to branding, visual design, performance, and UI/UX design.

Approach

I led the visual redesign focused on clarity, consistency, and performance. Design decisions were guided by user behavior, platform requirements, and business goals, ensuring the experience worked across Amazon, Shopify, and other e-commerce touchpoints.

The original SAN logo featured heavy effects and sharp detailing that reflected an earlier era of the brand. As the market evolved, these elements began to feel visually dated and less effective in digital environments.

The redesigned logo simplifies the form, removes unnecessary effects, and introduces a bold, modern wordmark. The result is a cleaner, more confident identity that improves legibility across digital platforms, strengthens brand recognition, and aligns with modern expectations in performance, wellness, and e-commerce design.
